Mrs. Monica C. Bertram has served as a nurse practitioner since 1998.  For more than 25 years, she has used her nursing skills in various settings such as primary care, geriatrics, oncology, pediatrics, nursing education, college health and home health. Through all these settings she has acquired the autonomy, flexibility, and critical thinking skills necessary to provide compassionate and quality care to her patients.

Mrs. Bertram received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1984 from Northern Kentucky University.  She attended the Medical College of Georgia from 1991 to 1993 pursuing graduate study in gerontology.  In 1998 she received her Masters in Nursing from Georgia State University.

Mrs. Bertram and her husband enjoy hiking, camping, and gardening.  Their daughter recently graduated from Auburn University.  Mrs. Bertram is a big hockey fan for her son who is attending the University of Kentucky.  On weekends, you will find Mrs. Bertram on the tennis court and playing with her two golden retrievers.
