John E. West, M.D., P.C. Biography

John E. West, M.D., F.A.A.F.P., has practiced Family Medicine since 1988. He began his practice in Snellville in 1993. Dr. West is a native Georgian and grew up in Forest Park where his father practiced General Medicine for over 30 years. Dr. West’s grandfather was a General Practitioner in North Carolina.

Dr. West graduated from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) with a double major. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia 30 years after his father graduated from the same school. Dr. West completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine in Augusta.

Dr. West and his wife, Lee, enjoy spending time with their two daughters. Tennis is a year round activity for the family. Gardening, a hobby of Dr. West's, always needs to be done, especially during rose season. The family is active in their church and the community.
